GETTING THERE

The climbing day will take place from 11AM-3PM on Sunday, June 19th. The Horseflats are about a 1 hour and 30 minute drive from the Arc'teryx La Brea store and close to 1 hour from the East Side of LA. Timing is traffic dependent, so please consider your route in advance to make sure you arrive on time to make the most of the day.

WHAT TO BRING?

Feel free to bring your own climbing gear, plenty of water, any snacks you might want for the day and we recommend bringing sun protection as well as lightweight layers for the morning.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

The Horseflats climbing zone is a short hike from the parking lot to a variety of different bouldering routes. This climbing zone is at a higher elevation (mid 5000 ft) than LA proper.

We'll have a basecamp setup at campsite 13 and 14 so be sure to check-in with us when you arrive. 

HOW IT WORKS:

Due to an anticipated high demand for workshop tickets, participants will be selected via random draw.

STEP 1:  Enter the draw between September 1, 9AM and September 15, 5PM PST. Submit your details using the form.

STEP 2:  Computerized draw of 20 participants

STEP 3:  All registrants will receive draw results and further instructions on September 16th.

STEP 4:  Should the any of the selected participants decline their spot, there will be a redraw for remaining tickets.

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:

‣ Entry does not automatically get you a workshop spot – it gives you an entry into the draw.
‣ Registrants will be able to register for themselves only.
‣ There is no fee to enter the draw. 
‣ You can only enter once; duplicate entries will be removed from the draw.
‣ The date you enter has no influence on your odds of being selected.
‣ Registrants will be chosen randomly by a computerized selection process.
